Our approach to skin treatments starts with a complimentary consultation to ensure proper diagnosis. In your consultation we will create a step-by-step treatment plan using our IPL laser machine to achieve your desired results. Our IPL laser photofacial treatments are powered by Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology to safely and effectively fade common signs of premature aging, including sun spots, discoloration, visible veins, and fine lines and wrinkles. IPL systems work on the same principles as lasers in that light energy is absorbed into particular target cells with colour (chromophores) in the skin. The light energy is converted to heat energy, which causes damage to the specific target area and removing the colour from the skin.

What You Need to Know About Skin Treatments
Our IPL skin treatments are safe and comfortable. In most cases, we recommend 4-5 treatments for each area you’re targeting, 3 weeks apart and sessions last 15-20 minutes each. The IPL treatment feels like a light snap or flick on the surface of the skin. The applicator has a cooling feature built into it to make the treatment as comfortable as possible, but you might feel a bit of discomfort if you’re treating a more sensitive area, like the upper lip. If you find it too uncomfortable, let the operator know and they can adjust the treatment accordingly. Once your session has ended, you can carry on with your activities as normal. You don’t need to resort to costly surgeries to get the youthful skin you want. There’s an easier way.
In most cases, you’ll need about 3 treatments for noticeable results.

After your treatment, you can return to your normal activities.
